Tenna is the ideal point of departure for the real motorcycling lover to discover the mountains of Trentino. There is an extraordinary choice of destinations.....
The Lagorai mountain chain is obviously one of the first attractions that visitors to Valsugana choose to visit. Located just a few kilometres north-east of Tenna, the Lagorai chain of mountains is a zone that is not yet cluttered with tourism "en masse” and is therefore the ideal place for thoso who want to wallow in the majestic grandeur of the magnificent mountains,
admiring their extraordinary natural beauty.

Other close destinations are the suggestive Mocheni valleys where the people speak an ancient German dialect and you can visit the “Grua va Hardömbl” mine, the Folgaria, Lavarone, Luserna and Vezzena Highlans with their characteristic rolling landscapes, typical Alpine shepherd’s huts and numerous sites
that bear testimony to the Great War.To the east is the Tesino basin and the splendid valleys of Val di Calamento, Val Campelle and Val di SellaA little further North is another valley of great interest: Val di Cembra , populated since ancient times as prehistoric and Roman-era archaelogical sited testify.
Here you can wonder at the famous underground pyramids at Segonzano, up to 20 metres high and culminating in a huge porphyry mass.

Moving further away from Valsugana in a northerly direction is the Val di Fiemme, and from here you can either proceed through the Paneveggio forest to the famous Pale di San Martino, or through the Val di Fassa , on into the heart of the Dolomites, between the Catinaccio, the Marmolada and the Sella mountain groups. This is the Ladini linguistic zone, where the people descend from a Neo-Latin population that is the oldest in the Alpine arc. Passing through Trento from Valsugana, one can easily reach western Trentino, known for its famous Brenta and Adamello mountain chains whose slopes are included in one of the most important natural reserves in the Eastern Alps stretching from the splendid valleys of Val di Genova and Val di Sole , to renowned towns such as Madonna di Campiglio.
Another destination worth taking into consideration is the Valle dei Laghi, with the lakes of Massenza, Toblino and Cavedine.
This region is not very well known, but charming.
